Place all ingredients except for the ice in a high-speed blender and puree until smooth.

Blueberry Mango Smoothie
Ingredients:
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 cup mango chunks
1 cup plain Greek yogurt (I used Chobani 0%)
1/4 cup vanilla soy milk, almond milk, or skim milk or water (the liquid helps it blend)
Directions:
1. Combine all of the ingredients in a blender, and blend at high speed until smooth.
2. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
Note-If you don't have frozen berries, you can use fresh, just throw in a couple of ice cubes. Also, you can place the smoothie in the freezer for later. Just thaw before drinking.

Re: smoothies recipes
Green Warrior Protein Smoothie
Ingredients:
1/2 cup fresh red grapefruit juice
1 cup destemmed dinosaur/lacinato kale
1 large sweet apple, cored and roughly chopped
1 cup chopped cucumber
heaping 1/2 cup chopped celery (1 med. stalk)
3-4 tablespoons hemp hearts (I use 4 tbsp)
1/4 cup frozen mango
1/8 cup fresh mint leaves
1/2 tablespoon virgin coconut oil (optional)
3-4 ice cubes, as needed
1/2-1 tablespoon algae oil (do not add to smoothie - take separately), optional
Directions:
Juice half of a large red grapefruit and add 1/2 cup grapefruit juice to the blender.
Now add the kale, apple, cucumber, celery, hulled hemp seeds, mango, mint, coconut oil, and ice. Blend on high until super smooth. (If using a Vitamix, use the tamper stick to push it down until it blends). You can add a bit of water if necessary to get it blending.
Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately! This makes enough for a large glass with some leftover so you can also divide it into two servings.
If using, take the algae DHA oil separately. I don't add it to the smoothie because it impacts the overall flavour.

Cantaloupe Smoothies
makes 2 large smoothies (about 16 oz each)
Ingredients:
1 cantaloupe, seeded scooped out and roughly chopped
1 cup Greek yogurt (I used 2%. I wouldn’t recommend using nonfat because it won’t turn out as creamy)
2 tbsp honey
1 cup ice
Directions:
Process all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Add more/less ice depending on personal preference. Enjoy!

1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
1 tablespoon white chia seeds (Yes, you can use black, but you will end up with black flecks in your smoothie. No biggie, but not the prettiest.)

Re: smoothies recipes
Alina wrote:Green Lemonade
- 1 to 2 very large apples (200-400g)
- 1 to 2 cups kale (or another green, or omit) (40g)
- 1 to 2 stalks celery, broken into a few pieces, and bottoms cut off (80g)
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 3/4 cup water
optional: a small piece of fresh ginger (or more, for a spicier juice)
Core the apples (no need to take off the skin), and combine all ingredients in a super-high-powered blender like a Vita-Mix. Blend until completely pulverized. I like it thick, so I never bother with this next step: Unless you prefer a ton of pulp like I do, you should pour the blended mixture through the finest strainer you own. Discard pulp or use for a different recipe. (Google “juice pulp recipes” if you need ideas.) Use one apple for a more tart drink and two apples for a sweeter drink.
